I won’t claim to be an expert on the squad rules but surely if Laporte has done his knee we’d leave him out of squad lists and open a spot?

Just idle match thread speculation anyway. If Laporte is seriously injured we will have to shop for a CB in Jan unless a young player really steps up

Let's best hope that Garcia or THB are ready for some game time. That injury to Laporte didn't look good and Stones always has small issues.

Fernandinho, Stones, Otamendi and Walker will all play CB before the kids.
