Celtic have had a couple games of pre season already, their season starts soon.

And these are just our kids... but they are surely in for a reality check.

The gulf in class between a first team regular and some of the kids is huge.

And I think people saw that mbete and Wilson esbrand will have solid careers but just not with us. Not sure id bin them off after this but they have not torn up the place. That and I'd never heard of our other cb before this game, makes for a rough back line against a cl front line

Mbete Wilson-Esbrand and o’Reilly look particularly horrific.

I think O'Reilly was great for most of that half, great movement, bright, technically great.

Mbete looked promising a few years ago, no idea what happened to him. He was playing for a team at the bottom of the Dutch second division last season which looks like his level at the moment.

He simply isn’t a defender. But lacks physicality at this moment to play in midfield. Probably going to get pelters for this but I think it’s going to be difficult for him to ensure his career is mostly at City. Sure, he’ll be a utility player for a few more years maybe, but I think there’ll come a point in the not too distant future where he leaves.

If only he grew a bit more.
