Best thing I can say about Chelsea's performance is Conor Gallagher has great hair

I think Gomez has done well considering his minutes are extremely scarce.
As I said to another poster, I think Gomez’s defensive frailties are mostly down to the tactics (i.e. how he and Palmer have been instructed to play) exposing him a bit, which is something Pep will be aware of and so isn’t really an issue.

He’s young and can improve in that regard. The fact he already has the most important (and scarce) attributes to play as a “Pep fullback” is what sets him apart.

He may not stay with us as long as other players, but I think he will go on to have a good career.

Good energy and players comfortable in the positions they are playing. Great stuff lads. The left side has been a tad rusty probably due to lack of game time.

Wouldn't send out Rodders for the 2nd half.

I love Haaland, brilliant goalscorer but we look a lot more fluid with a striker that links up like Alvarez.

Haaland may help in the Champions League though.
Haaland needs to be involved more. When you think of City over the past two years, the whole team has worked for each other, constantly moving. I think it’s tactical from Pep not making Haaland move to much, but we look better with Alvarez up top.

I love Haaland, but sometimes I prefer watching us without him. All energy and pressing.
That’s not a fair analysis. Haaland runs his bollox off. Pep needs to pay Alveraz with him.

When you have an outstanding goal scorer, you don’t want him exhausted running after people. Hardworking players needed to bring out Haalands best.
