I think another reason the paneka bothers many of us so much is that it's well known how bad we are at penaltys.

Doing that just compounds that weakness we have, making us more annoyed.

Somewhat agree. I just didn’t agree with the disrespectful comments. I’ve seen Ramos even do one at either a 0-0 or 1-0 lead for Madrid before. You usually strike a panenka with conviction. Sergio’s run up was bad in itself.

Nonetheless, at this stage, you could say it’s unprofessional on one hand as a second goal gives comfort. On the other hand, a panenka is part of the profession. He f***ed it up but it is what it is. The whole team just need to do better in the second half.
