Because we allowed Foden and Alvarez to play in their best positions. Now they're being shoehorned where they aren't supposed to be.

Very risky atm. We don’t look right so far.

Certainly not to my eyes. But I don’t think we really have for most of the season.
And I do genuinely mean that I’d love to hear what Pep says about the shape / patterns of play. All feels so un-Pep like. The king of midfield control sacrificing midfield control like this. Be fascinating to know his thinking.

TBF to Doku he's always got two guys in his face. He needs to be more decisive and make a pass as soon as he gets it if he'd not going to try and get behind.

Not a fan of how much of our possession resides at the feet of our defenders. It just always makes us slow and turgid

Especially with the new penchant to push one of our defenders into midfield.
