you can bet Sterling misses exact same chance next weekend at Carabao final vs Pool.
and that’s why, although I appreciated everything Sterling did for us, I’d never put my mortgage on him scoring a one to one with the opposing goalkeeper. That’s unless you get a right back like Walker allowing him to move onto his right foot and score!

Shoehorning Alvarez in this team has to stop. Has to. Like him as a lad and a player but he’s taking up spaces both De Bruyne and Foden are better in. Separate note I think Ake has been the only positive today.
I've been saying this for ages and am surprised I have yet to be banned. He's a good player, but if he was an academy player, there's NO WAY he'd have as long a leash as he has.

Our defending as a whole has been head scratching all season.

We concede a goal to a near carbon copy of a chance (Jackson) and similar to Isaak at Newcastle. We just don't learn. Don't know if it's a complacency issue or an ego issue, where defenders just think the attacker's will pull em out the shit all the time.

Can't see us scoring today. Especially now they've gone in front.

I know he is ex City and I know some on here love him but.... Sterling is absolute shite in my book, So glad we got rid og him. Apart from that goal he has had chances that he has thankfully fucked up but he really is crap. I couldn't stand him toward the end of his time with us... he really couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.
shit but scores, is that not what great players do?

we shouldnt put ourselves into a situation where we need to go and win at Anfield and WHL to win the title.

turn it around today and beat mediocre brentford as well and keep the pressure on rivals!!!!!!
