It’s frustrating because it’s entirely predictable.
Everyone said the same thing would happen when the line up was put out - and it’s happened.
Now we likely have to take off a game changer to put on a defensive midfielder when we are chasing the game.

Very disappointed in us so far. This is a limp performance from us, really poor.
They’re working harder than us in every single match up all over the pitch. Our passing is either too slow or when we try to speed it up it’s erratic. Nobody is leading the team, not a single one of them is using their brains when they need to find space to be passed in and we’re just giving it away time-and-time again.
We’ve sacrificed the best left forward in in Europe and put him in midfield, where he’s not as good, to fit Sterling in who’s had opportunities but has displayed rubbish ball control and fucked it up. Gundogan can’t keep up with their midfield in defensive mid.
Defensively, our shape is all over the shop. We are giving them time and space, we’re not pressing anything like I expected it to.
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I can’t believe what I’m seeing.
We need a drastic fucking improvement in the second half, or we’re not winning this game! Get Fernandinho and Agüero on that pitch!
