Think I’d rather play Delph in midfield and Laporte at left back than this current set up. Stones doesn’t know where to run, where to position himself, where to pass. It’s not fun to watch him there, he gives us no rhythm. I was looking to see if he tried anything different to the last game, but the way he interprets that role is still the same. Stones passes so much better from deeper.

Fair play to Stones - it's an incredibly difficult position to play, especially in a Guardiola team.

Fernandinho makes it look effortless.
