16 games this season and this will be the 8th where we score 0 or 1. 50% of them where we are blunt/wasteful in attack. That’s way too high. It is for me way beyond the point of calling them bad days at the office. The thumpings inbetween have masked the fact our attack isn’t up to scratch. It isn’t reliable. No point hitting 5 or even 6 to then have blanked in potentially 6 games already this season.

Correct. Thumping the dross papers over the cracks that when we really need a goal in a tight game, we're pretty toothless. People will point to the goals scored column but when the vast majority of them have been scored in a small number of games it proves how stats don't tell the whole story.
