Still think that's a very soft penalty. I'd be pissed off if it was given against us.

True but we have nailed on penalties this season turned down.
Agreed 100%. At least two against the quiet neighbours, and the farcical one at Saint Mary's last weekend spring to mind straight away. So I'll take tonight's one; I'm not proud!

Why do players like Dave,Sergio etc get more injuries.
It's because they are always targeted and marked with 3-4.

Usually the case with Silva, Sergio usually does it non-contact as they've just said.

Very unfortunate with Aguero. Hopefully it is not too serious and just precaution. But I have to say that some our players have really stepped up and impressed this first half. I have not been a big fan of Nasri but over the past few games and today in particular, he looked like a totally different player and is essentially leading the line in such a difficult and repressive situation after the Aguero injury.

Hear hear.

What I've really liked about Nasri is he's been SO much more direct. Best performance from him in 2 years.

I don't think he is SO much more direct in his play. He has been linking up play well and directing attacks in his favored central position. Main reason I see is that silva is out and nasri has much more freedom to dictate play and he revels in the role. Plus, he loves playing those one twos with yaya too.

Clichy has been spectacular as well and Milner and Navas has also been lively. Pozo obviously is not in tandem with the rest of the team but that should be expected. Pellegrini have scored a fantastic management goal here by playing Pozo because now it will be clear to him that he is a real option in the squad.

Lets get that three points and then assess things going forward but the team has played well and hopefully it will continue and we can get the three points.

Very very unlucky with the Aguero incident. Why does it have to be him.

I get what you mean re: Pozo, but it's only good management if we win. Unfortunately as it is at the top, giving youth players a chance is secondary to winning games.

Winning is in many ways separate from the decision to play him so I don't agree on the need to withhold a view about Pellegrini's decision until the end of the match. I think it is a good decision and hopefully he can make a bigger impact in the second half.
