Played really well against one of the most negative teams I’ve seen at the Ethiad and that is saying something.

Only concern is that we become complacent. Laporte seems to be the most likely player. That was a lazy challenge to get a yellow card.

But well done City. Palmer doesn’t look out of place !

How in the world do we have people pretending that wasn’t a yellow?
How was Delph's not a yellow?

It was as clear as Laporte's who's touch on the player was soft as fuck anyway, a yellow yes but also our first real foul = yellow, this is what pisses people off and then the rant on double standard/cheating/fixing is on and let's be honest they do have a point some times.

Clear and obvious error? Not in a million years. It can't be clear and obvious if the fucking VAR officials look at it over and over again before giving the ref a nudge. Clear and obvious is a quick look and "You've fucked up" in his ear.

Regardless of whether it was a foul, and I think it is a case that sometimes it will be given, sometimes not, the issue is that it was not an obvious error.

Nobody here would expect that to be overturned for the rags or dippers, but we are fair game because they hate us.

Whenever Sterling hasn’t time to decide what to do, he always makes the right decision when finishing.
Great goal. Great assist. Great first half. Let’s hope we can continue for another 45 minutes while not relating on VAR.

Oh my god have a fucking rest.

Of course it was a great finish he just opened up his body and popped it in the top corner first time on the half volley.

Haha okay popped it in the top corner fucking pmsl.

By the way I said he has had a good game even before he scored so you give it a fucking rest. We ain’t all biased one way or the other. The whole lead up to the goal was a perfect example of Sterlings game.

We are winning enjoy it and chill.

They still look a bit of a threat on the counter.

Quiet game from Bernardo, maybe bring Phil inside and put Jesus out wide.
Why not put the only actual striker at the club down the middle and then we’ll have someone who can actually hold the ball up? The wingers are fine as they’re and have the pace to exploit any space later in the game

Something like 60% of Cancelo's assists at City have happened in his last 5 appearances.
It’s always been the biggest frustration with him in the past. It was clear the technique was there for him to create more chances but his assist numbers were shocking for someone with his talent. Glad we’re finally unlocking that!

I still like Jesus up front, personally, but it sounds like he's done playing there and is a winger now..
