I get that but why does he feel nothing for us? We have had a lot of rubbish play and manage us over my 52 years, I think the use of him in commentary is based on his England career.

Tbf, his management spell with us was dogshit. His most famous moment was leaving a recognised striker on the bench in favour of a pre-planned move to put David James upfront.

The year after we scored 15 goals in 19 games at home and he got sacked even before Shinawatra came in. Not really much to celebrate.
