This has been a total shit show since the first minute. Everton's plan was to foul and time waste as much as possible and the ref seems to be fine with it. The only spell in the 2nd half where they didn't fake an injury was when City were trying to bring on subs.

They did that all last year. Richarlison was excellent at that.
