Gomez is a very similar player to Zinchenko but has a much better cross on him. Looking like a very astute signing by the club.

Then again, we signed Gomez, Akanji and Alvarez for for around £50 million. Compared to Chelsea who bought Sterling, Cucurella and Fofana for just under £200 million. It’s crazy how well run this club is.
 
Great first half. Our left side of Gomez, Bernardo and freakish looks fantastic. All interchanging positions on the wing and causing Copenhagen all sorts of problems.

I hope we keep our foot on the pedal second half and we could see plenty more goals.
 
Enjoying having a goal machine up front this year. Gomez, Jack and Bernardo are a smooth balance on the left. It certainly helps Jack's game having players that can overlap and pass and receive in tight spaces. Gundo excellent recycling of the ball, we're not missing Rodri in that position at the moment.

If I have one small complaint, what is mahrez doing -? He should be shining tonight but hes just not doing it. Grealish playing well but doing his best Sterling impression in front of goal.

If you watch the Chelsea first-half highlights later, you’ll see he really isn’t.
