I think the problem recently is we have been a bit too brave when we needed to be a bit less so. The midfield dropped a bit deeper tonight, not quite as gung ho and Lewis in particular not given as much freedom to be too high up. Once 2-0 up and it’s a different game.

Have to factor in that these are shite too and probably on a par with a Championship side.

It’s better though. Much better.

Nunes has played this half but for me Haaland has led the way tonight. Real grit and determination from him. Won that pen, banged it in and just been a menace all night.
