He didn't look fazed at all by the step up to the first team. Could see him being a player for us in the future.

really impressed with Evans, surely he is now most likely to be on the bench Saturday? Especially as we aren't blessed in the midfield at the minute. You can tell he is a generation above the other youngsters and has played first team football, so much more confident. It would be great if he did manage to get a first team debut.

If Lampard is injured then there is a definitely a place for Evans on the bench. Hopefully he has done enough as far as Manuel Pellegrini is concerned.

Lampard started and was subbed off for Sinclair. I saw one of the players asking how he was in the post match hanging around. From his reaction he seemed to say something like "not too bad" probably just a precaution?
I hope he's available for Chelsea.
