Played ok that half and well worth our 2 goal lead. Could have had one or 2 more really if we'd been a bit sharper with our finishing.

Would prefer Doku and Savinho to stay out wide a bit more rather than drifting infield and not really giving the FB much in the way of an option. Would be nice to see the front 3 clicking a bit more together. It's not far off but too many passes just missing their man in the final 3rd.

Keep it going 2nd half, sharpen up our play around their area and we should win this fairly comfortably.

We're playing okay, still could be much better. Leicester are fucking awful though.

Results around the league were good for us until Newcastle scored late in that half.

Quite enjoyed that. Very happy to see Jack score and smile! Haven’t seen that smile for a while. Getting involved and looking hungry, not quite on it as a team but much much better against a woeful Leicester side.

Lovely to see forward passes. More of the same please 2nd half, City

Yes. There is how it should be, and how it actually is...
Is it balls. You're demonstrably more likely to get a penalty if you go down, even when you're clearly fouled. Show me one example in the past 10 seasons of a player being fouled and trying to stay on their feet, fluffing their shot/cross because they're off balance, and being given a penalty anyway. It never happens. The example I still remember is Walker on Sterling back in the day. The next game, Sterling goes down under less contact and gets a penalty.

For the record, I don't know if this one was a penalty, because the replay was from a shit angle that didn't show how much contact there was.

Fairly easy game so far but it's fucking freezing in here the team need to bang a few more goals in to warm us up

Completely comfortable atm but sums up our issues with a complete lack of creativity and goals throughout the team. Its taken a howler from the keeper to give us that 2nd goal.
Need far more goals and assists from wingers if he is going to carry on with them next season.
Ditching the inverted wingers tactic needs to go , both far better on the opposite flanks

I remember when Daka was declared THE best signing of the summer '21 window. He was such a bargain after scoring a bag in the Austrian league. FFS TXIKI
Tbf Haaland played alongside him in the same team and both looked fantastic. You never truly know how it’s going to go. Haaland got 17 in 16 league games in Austria before moving to Dortmund and in the season after Haaland left, Daka got 27 in 28 after getting 24 in 31 the season prior. He was putting up similar numbers to Haaland in the same league/team. Don’t know what went wrong for him but he was fantastic at Salzburg.

Spot on we need more goals chipped in from the rest of the team.
