The biggest problem with this formation is that it leaves the fullbacks as the free men and neither is very good on the ball
 
They were justifying Gundogan not being bad, not Fernandinho not being good.

Topic's never been about whether Dinho is good or not. All but a very small minority know he's brilliant.

It's the sheep like adherence to the 'he's lost his legs/he's too old' line that was being used to justifying a ridiculous decision, based on arguably Guardiola's biggest blind spot. As we can clearly see, it was nothing but a pure falsehood - an utter lie.
 
Mendy, Walker & sterling need to wake up a bit. All 3 gone off the pace these last 10 mins
 
Last play really shows garcia's lack of awareness and understanding of the game. Had no idea that Barnes was completely free behind him and marked vardy's run instead. a better pass and barnes is 1v1.
