You simply cannot make excuses for Walker, Garcia and now Mendy getting the wrong side of a player and putting hands on shoulders - All three are pens, soft, yes but truly awful defending. Again I say it we lost this game by all the moaning before the game about protecting players - I'm just hoping that there is a reaction like that when we got mullered by Everton.
