Fernandinho having his worst game in a City shirt. Hope we haven't made a mistake keeping him.

All in all, pretty much expected - a very rusty performance, most of the players have less that 2 hours game time and our width is from youngsters. Considering it's Leicesters best versus our C team, we've held up reasonably well without any real spark or chances to shout about other than the Gundo FK.

Ake and Gundo have played fairly well, hopefully we get Grealish, Bernie and Rodri on after 70 mins for some minutes in the legs.

Leicester`s first XI 0 - 0 MCFC 2nd XI which includes a couple of kids

All this talk about take the kids off - bollocks. They`ve not shied away from the ball, always available and wanting the ball. These minutes will do them the world of good. It`s basically a pre-season friendly, and all about minutes under the belt.

no mate it’s the kids. Those two are the reason season internationals have been so poor.

We are behind Leicester in terms of prep for the new season and it shows. Great save for Steffen who has been very good. No real control in midfield albeit Gundo has worked hard and effectively. Don’t think we will see Grealish today unfortunately. Pep looks in a good mood.

He was very spotty last season as well. Had his moments of course but pretty obvious he’s lost a few steps.
