Bit of a shambles game. Palmer has been impressive though, looks like he belongs out there. Edozie doesn't look good enough, and there's been sloppiness from most of the senior players. Interested to see Mendy playing that almost false-midfielder role that Cancelo enjoyed last season. Not doing too badly, I don't think.

Best hope is that we can just nick a scrappy goal and hope Leicester don't put away one of their chances - I don't feel like it means much when it's Leicesters strongest XI and our B/C team.

We've not even been that bad. Leicester can be a fantastic side and they're showing it at times. Some of their play has been very sophisticated, and they're opening up our wide defensive areas well.

He's playing exactly like he did every time he was a 9 last season.

No involvement in the game, completely unable to hold the ball up, will probably score a big chance if someone gives him one.
Which is fair comment but isn’t that the same as when he was on the wing? I just feel he hasn’t found his feet yet. One thing I’d like him or club to do is for him to add more muscles. He’s not rapid so a little for muscle should be ok so that he can at least shield the ball better.

Pre season friendly to try and improve match fitness. Passing, shooting, positioning and ball retention all look rusty, as we did last pre season. How did that end folks?
