This will sound odd, but I think we might have benefited from Haaland being rested as a precaution, as Van Dick and Konate probably would have preferred his style of play to Alvarez.

Julian has them asking each other which way is up.

With the high line they normally play Haaland would have loved the space even if was a physical battle between their two CBs
