I believe we bought a crop of mediocre players over the last few years and instead of the team bringing their standards up, they have brought our players levels down.
That and some players needing zimmer frames these days.

That is true

But the game is moving and evolving all the time. Teams first tried to nullufy our tactics by throwing 10 men behind the ball when they realised we cut through them lime butter.

But we could still open them up. However, as Pep has changed the game over here and how tactics are carried out, it will eventually catch up and with an squad that can no longer do it - we are seeing what we are right now.

This right now, for me is like when Pep first rocked up. He needs to rebuild the team in a new style that is different again from the last in terms of style and speed of play - and that is the big difference, not just getting the players, but the change in style to combat what we face each week and has caught up.

I honestly believe, Pep will know already and be working on this.

And what we will then see is Pep change and adapt and ultimately cement his legacy further nore as the greatest manager of all time.
