Only positive is Doku is showing up the greatest right back in the history of the world once again

Shame he has no idea what to do when hes beaten him though

Lol. We've been shit defensively and have created zero clear chances. But we have had possession. So I guess that means weve played well.
Aside from Tront, they have been fairly solid defensively. If Phil and Kev had been at their creative best then it might have been a different first half, but we are no means shit.

Our standards really are on the floor if this is playing “very well”. Having some possession is not playing very well. We also have to defend, we have to press, we have to create clear chances, we have to win our duels, many things. We’re lacking in every area.
It’s a piece of piss for them. Let them have it lads, they’ll turn it over and we’ll break and score.

Love Kev desperately but we desperately need Wirtz. Or Musiala. Or we will never be back to where we were.
we aint getting either.....Musiala just signed a new deal and wirtz is nailed on to Bayern

our options are seemingly Xavi Simons and/or Morgan Gibbs White.....hahahahahaha -and you think we have problems now

Some ridiculous comments on here
We're losing to the best side in Britain. We've not been up to their standard all season. What did antone expect? That we's suddenly be world beaters again? At least we've given it a go rather than just defend, surrender and lose by the odd goal..Our fight this season isnt with Liverpool. Its to get in the top 4.

Been an OK performance but Kevin needs to come off. Swap him for Kovacic, then give Foden 10 minutes to get into the game and put Grealish on if he doesn't

I'm not for sacking Pep - but you have to wonder whether that's what he's waiting for?
Had be not signed the new contract, would be have walked away by now?
He was more genuinely angry in the press conference then he ever looks on the sidelines these days.
Having said that, can't blame him for players not knowing the offside rule, or an inability to make 10 yard passes on a regular basis

Both their goals were simple and effective.

A change in corner routine, something different and a goal.

A 50 yard ball in behind from TAA and they are in the box.

We are our own worst enemies at times.

I don't know much about that young Brazilian center half we signed but fucking Christ could that money not have gone towards a much needed right back?!

It is so easy for Liverpool to tear City apart.

Salah creeps into the box and Szoboszlai must have been stood in the box for a good few seconds, unmarked, and he has the time to find his corner and score.

Awful defending.

You cannot concede goals like that against Liverpool.

Don’t actually think we’ve played that badly. They’ve got that little bit of quality up front that we lack

Like every team we play, it's 6 attackers v about 9 defenders when we go forward, but when the opposition goes forward it's often a 4 v 4.

So much easier to create chances when there's space.
