Just end this dog turd of a season now and put us out of our misery. We all knew that the inevitable decline of this team was coming but the alarming speed that it has arrived is worrying indeed. Maybe a few players have already given up and that is not acceptable by any means. Yes we have had injuries and some bad luck but we should have had enough in reserve to cover those eventualities.

A lot of our shortcomings in recruiting quality players has now firmly come home to roost. Too many players are past their usefulness but they have either been moved on or the ones who have moved on have not been replaced with players of equal or better quality or not been replaced at all. That is almost criminal for that to be allowed to happen.

The close season is going to be interesting indeed. It's one thing to aim to buy the quality players we need but another to actually attract them to come to the club and it is important that we end the season on a stronger note than we are currently doing.
