Mahrez is horrid. Him being in the right spot at the right time once out of every 3 games to net a goal is not enough for his total lack of quality every other minute he’s out there.

I’m surprised how well we’ve hit the ground running. I was expecting the side to be more lethargic than this. We’ve played some really good football against a top side. Palmer, aside from his miss, has been excellent as has Lewis.

The only irritation is the fact that these dominant performances with no result to show for it are becoming too common against Liverpool.

We all know that if the performances were reversed in that first half then Liverpool would have a 3 goal lead at the break.

I think we may see 4/5 changes during the second half.

Cancelo/Bernado/Foden/Grealish and Walker all need minutes before next week and if they come on, we should win.

Frustrating thing is Mahrez could win a game or miss a penalty. Just not consistent enough is the issue
