Most of us are accustomed to start with a slower player to start the match

Then bring on the pacey player when they're tired out, the defenders that is.

Alvarez, in my view and I think others can struggle because he doesn't always have the pace in certain situations he's not that slow but it's interesting because this is the opposite of what you usually see but it makes a lot of sense to me.

It could be what was thinking I think it's not too hard to see that as a possibility
Alvarez is also extremely clinical compared to Jeremy

and late in the match if we're not scoring, which has been a problem this season in terms of totals and goal difference

Yet we all know our ability to get goals very late in the match to win.

Jeremy as exciting as he has been when we brought him on late has NOT much led to those type of goals.

He'll create havoc, and generate excitement, take on defenders, take shots that look really good but just don't quite get in the back of the net, and his crossing and decision-making, less experience...

LESS than Alvarez:

Who, I dunno was a HUGE factor why Argentina won the World Cup as basically the Key factor to help Messi be more effective.

Is why you start Doku and then bring Alvarez on certainly at least given what's been going on and with no Jack.

Nunes, his qualities I don't think is the right sub or even starter the more that I think about it now but we'll see what happens.

Spare a thought for the officials if it's level going into 90 minutes. Do they add on non existent minutes for a potential United winner or do they keep it to a bare minimum to combat a potential City winner.
