Surely we’d need Kovacic on the pitch if Gundo is coming off. Gundo is the 6, we aren’t going to play any of Jack, KDB or Bernardo there.

I love Gundo and always will, but I'd take any change. We are burning the fella out.

We've been giving them far too much space when they go forward. Our midfield is woeful without the ball.

I really don't like to criticise individuals on derby day, but Kyle Walker is a shithouse for trying to get that rag sent off.

I love Gundo, but he shouldn't be starting for us this season. Impact sub, nothing else at this stage of his career.

Fine, but who else would you put? I don't think it was ever Pep's intention to start Gundo in matches, still less to play him right through them. If Johnny had been fit, he could have been moved up into defensive midfield. But he hasn't, and Kova's been out for a full month. Gundo should be coming on to give control round about the 70-minute, 75-minute mark.
