It gave them no shots at all. Their shot was from a set piece that we defended poorly. The set up when defending a set piece is identical no matter what the formation, ergo it is not the fault of the formation.

Im just realistic. I said they’d score after all our chances and they did.

We’ve got no bottle at times, Sterling is hopeless which isn’t helping.

We start the game two goals up. Yet they come here, park the bus and hit us on the break. And it seems to be working for them.

It looks like the plan was to get the first goal to kill off the tie. It might have worked if we were anything close to clinical.

But, things won’t always go your way. And when they don’t, you need to ensure that you make the opposition work damn hard for their chances. This defence is just not fit for purpose.

The transfer window is about to close and it looks like we’ll just continue with what we’ve got until the end of the season at least.
