It gave them no shots at all. Their shot was from a set piece that we defended poorly. The set up when defending a set piece is identical no matter what the formation, ergo it is not the fault of the formation.

disagree,,players not in normal positions etc can cause panic and make mistakes 9 times out of ten we would have cleared that,hope your right by the way,on your stats we should bag a few 2nd half ;-)

City by far the better team but first sniff of a chance it's a goal for them. I'm not one of those people who try and dismiss luck like it's not real. It is and along with all our deficiencies in defence this season, luck hasn't been with City all season. Results do matter but I wouldn't be happy with City smashing the first shot they get hoping for the best, to paper over being dominated for near enough a full half of football.

We don't always get the results we deserve but that's the way it goes sometimes.

The number of times we lose to a single wonder strike that 9 times out of 10 would be blazed over the bar is unreal.
