Yeah, Nico needs to cut out that taking responsibility and organising the team from the middle of the pitch, it serves no purpose other than to create discord and confusion, as we can see from this first half performance.

Demonstrates for me how many people in here don't have a fucking clue what they're talking about. Could hardly believe as I read along that there were people being hypercritical of us in that first 15 minutes.

We were fucking brilliant in the first 15 minutes. This is one of the best attacks in the world right now and they didn't get a sniff, we were in total control. It was easily the best we've played all season.

The only sniff they've had all half came from Gvardiol's error (but he's been great otherwise).

Easy to underestimate how much of a difference Nico's presence and Khusanov's pace is making. Physicality, bodies back, they're making us harder to get through.
