Can we all get off Doku’s arse for the second half?

He is actually playing pretty well and has contributed a lot to our dominance. He creates a lot of space for other players, even when he doesn’t have the ball, and when he does, Newcastle are so worried about him he is drawing two or three players, who are all petrified of actually putting in a challenge.

His decision making also looks like it is improving; it is still not perfect but he seems to be getting better at knowing when to run, when to pass, and when to slow play down to maintain control.

Based on the match thread you’d think he was the worst player on the pitch, which is just not remotely true, even excluding Newcastle.

Decent first half for me. As a few have said if he can just improve his final ball he’ll be devastating
