Grealish always plays like this regardless. These players are low level championship for a reason, you'll catch them flat footed more often, switch off more often but grealish is ponderous and will never look to make use of any advantage. It's as if he wants everything to come easy for him and the thing is we know he had the ability, this is what makes it frustrating
