After the stonewaller we were denied in the last minute of the first leg, I can't say I feel like it was fortunate.

It won't have escaped the ref's attention that that was a serious fuckup. Though they're obviously not allowed to, I would even go as far as to say that they gave us a soft one with that mistake in mind.
