Do you want him as an 8 or as a winger?

It's quite difficult to expect such a young player to just be excellent in both positions, constantly losing rhythm built up in a certain position.

Perhaps that's the growing he wants from Foden and he expects he will come off better on the other side of it, I'm not so sure.

Rodri gives it away (again), then goes legging it to their keeper alone, vacating the centre. The guy needs to come off and rest his body and mind, he isn’t thinking properly.
