I’d struggle to give Dias, Akanji and Rodri anymore than a 3/10 in that half. That Rodri performance was as bad as Javi Garcia at his worst for us. Utterly shite. However, he looks fucked and has been run into the ground over the past two seasons.

That said, as bad as that defensive performance was, with competent finishing we’re going in level at the break.

This comical defending and wasteful finishing is a toxic mix.

Well, how shit was that. Outplayed all over the pitch. Rodri having possibly his worst game ever for us. Back four awful. Midfield invisible. Incredibly though, we are still creating chances - just missing them all.

Daft as it is, Dias gets his header on target, Lewis passes the ball into the corner rather than smashing it and Haaland the same and we could easily have scored 3 in that half.
