Pep asked the fans to turn up then sucked all the atmosphere out of the game. Baffling.The excessive respect we’re giving them has undermined our own atmosphere. Fans up for it then everyone sees lethargy and caution from the off. Madrid wanted to prevent it becoming a bear pit and yet we did a lot of the work for them, it’s so fucking frustrating. Pep getting it all wrong so far.

Some of the players look half arsed, losing so many 50/50...only winning the ball back when we have 3 or 4 guys around 1 Madrid player
Haaland needs to step up, Foden needs to get more central, Walker needs to focus, Dias needs to act like a Centre half who can't be passed not a big fanny who's scared of getting physical
Deffo still in it obviously, but can't be starting the next half like this

We’ve been decent enough after a really sluggish start. Last season we were at them from the 1st minute and they couldn’t cope with us, quite why we started so slow is baffling.
Fuck knows what Walker was doing for their goal. He’s got his hand up for offside when he is the only one playing them on and then just randomly leaves Rodrygo to mark fresh air.
Bernie anonymous as he has been for most of the season. I’d take him off and stick Kovacic on.

We have to try to improve this second half, one thing for certain RM are a much better side than last year but if we play Foden and Bernardo in their preferred positions, sorry KDB, we can turn this around. We do however, have to sort our defence out because it’s a shambles.
