Great that we are winning the tie.......but this game should be over,we should be out of sight.Once again we are our own worst enemies,this lack of purpose going forward in favour of slowing down the game and favouring playing it backwards and sideways will always prevent us from being the team we can be if a bit more directness and invention in attack was implemented.

Foden and Kev superb,Jesus too,Bernie doing ok but never quite fully in the game in the role he is performing.As for Mahrez,other than the fantastic assist,he has not made a single other correct choice in the game.

Eddie also needs to sort his shit out,he got away with 2 or 3 shite plays in that half.

Hopefully a more settled defence will give us the foundation to build on our lead in the second.

We are the better side but they have the better strikers. We just need to keep the ball in their half as much as possible and we'll get a few more

Of course it would be great if we were 3 up. But we are without 2 of our first choice defenders with a third going off.

We are leading and there are no away goals. Love another goal but would take 2-1.

De Bruyne, Foden, Jesus, and Zinchenko were really good that half. Rodri and Bernardo both did pretty well too.

Not sure why anyone is blaming mahrez or foden. The attack has done its job. 2 nil up that early and more would have been coming and we are pretty much in the final. It's the fucking defence arsing about and showing a lack of common fucking sense. Smell the moment lads and be professional all we had to do was not fuck up and do the basics. Madrid were gone and we invited them back in.

I'm not blaming either. Shooting in those positions isn't talked about if the ball hits the net or if they choose to pass and they get that wrong people moan that they didn't shoot. People just like to moan about certain players
