Not sure how many on here will agree with me but even though he’s a rag I like Mark Chapman a lot. He’s an excellent and impartial presenter - much like Lineker was.

None of the jokey banter shite you get on Sky or BT. BBC coverage is very old school and more serious, quite refreshing really.

That was an enjoyable half and many players have seemingly taken this as a chance to stake a claim to be more involved: Doku, O Reilly and Nunes in particular.

Mubama with a neat little cameo as striker with his goal, just needs to stay onside.

Playing left back is suiting O’Reilly nicely - it’s given him that bit more time on the ball, which will be doing wonders for his confidence.
Mubama is raw as hell but obviously has an eye for goal, and I like how he’s always prepared to run in behind. It’s creating a lot of space for others.
McAtee has shown flashes - obviously a classy player, just needs to assert himself a bit more.
He's just a little tentative when it comes to 50-50 balls. Still developing in the role.

As comfortable as you could get really. They’re fucking terrible.

Doku has been good and of the kids Nico O’reilly has looked the most comfortable. I know you have to take the opposition into account but Nico looks far better at LB than Rico ever has.

Would like to see more from McAtee. Gundo and Grealish should be seeing this as an opportunity but the pair of them have been a bit meh.

A walk in the park really and just hoping that we don’t pick up any injuries.

Playing alright. Doku looking good, Grealish and Gundogan leading in the middle, happy for Mubama and O'Reilly.

About as good as could be expected given the line-up. Salford should probably be on the scoresheet and they'll be annoyed they're not.

Comfortable enough.

Not a bad first half considering the makeshift team. Gundogan's passing has been a bit off, Savinho has been very hit and miss and I'd like to see McAtee try and get on the ball a bit more. The game seems to be somewhat passing him by but perhaps that is because we are mainly playing it out wide rather than through the middle. The rest have all been fine. Doku the standout player that half I think, though O'Reilly, Nunes and Mubama have done well too.

More of the same 2nd half but sharpen up our passing and really put them to the sword.
