I liked the adjustments the team made and finally took advantage of the high line, they really ramped up their play - always nice to emphatically announce yourself into the QFs

Surely every goal doesn't have to go to VAR?
Nowt wrong with checking the penalty and potential offside (as Sterling was ahead of his immediate man), but the decision should have taken ten seconds and one reply on both.

Either way, correct decision was given.

Var just fucking sucks. Is every decision going to take three minutes?, absolute joke. Easy as piss that first half, Schalke not interested in playing.

Something else they need to sort out with VAR... it’s currently a shambles, if it’s staying it needs speeding up and more interaction with the crowd

They need to be "clear and obvious errors". All three of those should have taken 10 seconds to see it wasnt a clear or obvious error, and move on. VAR is there to take away the dives that lead to a penalty, the clear offsides, the unseen stuff by the ref. The way they are using it now is a joke.

Danilo was excellent.

We are in the Champions League Quarter Finals!!!
