Let’s be honest that was dogshit.
No Kev, no Gundogan, no Mahrez.
No threat.
Time for the playmakers to step it up.
I’m not sure Mahrez would’ve been a difference-maker in that half, but agreed on the other two.
They are impressive defensively.
Edit - and shouldve had 4 bookings

Why is there never any criticism of Erling?

He's just standing up there like a statue. Come show for the ball and even if you don't get it, it opens up space for a run in behind.

Because he doesn't really have the vision, passing, the control and dribbling or the give and go movement to contribute anything by dropping deep.
Stays on the shoulder and waits for his opportunity.

Foden were for out thou?
It’s a strange one isn’t it, he’s drifting over to Coles side and not getting around Jack who’s the senior of the two & looks a threat, Midfield are also looking to play Haaland in or play off him & are bypassing Phil, top players find a way & He’s a top player. My money is on Pep tweaking it and we score 3 this half

Newcaste will come at us with some pace, we better improve a lot until Saturday. Seville doesnt do anything special, solid defensive shape enough so far to reduce us to some basic chances.

much more needed from Foden, Palmer, Grealish, 3 main creative outlet and they hardly did anything so far.

Haaland again getting no service.
He's not getting any service but he can at least start to look interested in the game

Need to bring Phillips on to see what he can do as we can’t have Rodri every game also Cole palmer who in his own right is a really good player but he is not good enough for us also Phil foden is no kdb and never will be but he is still top class at what he does . A couple more signings of creativity and we will be ok this year but this Rodri playing every game is a major worry .
