Just doesn't seem to have gone for us that half. Keeping the ball well but have to start to create a few more chances. If we keep at it, we can wear them down and win this.

Why is there never any criticism of Erling?

He's just standing up there like a statue. Come show for the ball and even if you don't get it, it opens up space for a run in behind.
The only criticism that can be levelled is that he hasn't touched the fuckin' ball yet so he hasn't buggered up anything!

Haaland has to hold the ball better when it’s played into him especially against packed defences like these are playing. The fact they have a 1 goal lead to protect makes this very hard to turnaround.

Can’t help but feel we really miss mahrez in these kind of games, he was always good for a goal or assist against these deep blocks

The criticism of palmer on here is bizarre. He’s kept the ball and created one clear cut chance that ake should have scored.

Too many moaners on here
Didn’t look out of place at all, he needs to be playing on a regular basis for that confidence to improve to take more chances. Areas to improve Especially that positioning in the box like when Grealish put the ball over into the box he ran in front of the defender instead of behind. Sterling developed this skill massively under Pep.
