A United fan, old, and clearly bored by the match:

Alex Dawson the last hat trick scorer in the semis. I saw him play for United many times when I was a kid in the early sixties. He looked like a professional boxer. They had a wing half called Nobby Lawton in those days from Newton Heath. In the close season a few United players played cricket for Newton Heath. I can remember Dawson was an opening batsman & Maurice Setters was a fast bowler. I was in calipers in those days & was always given a good view

On days like today it seems that the players are on some sort of digital delay.

Opportunities are missed because passes are delayed or just not seen.

Smacks of our early season form but hopefully when we are restored to full strength the delay will be gone.
