Notice how when we might get a penalty, they micro-analyse whether there’s a feather of a touch on the ball, then they go back as many phases of play as they like to look for an offside, then they go back to the Quarter Final to look for a foul, then and only then do they settle on it being a penalty.
Amazing isn't

The tempo by some of our players has been poor. Players are walking with the ball as if we are 4-0 up with 5 mins left to go. I get we have big games on the horizon but 1 game at a time. It looks like complacency.

Why the in depth analysis about whether he touches the ball?… That isn’t the criteria for what is considered a foul?

He’s behind the man, he’s clearly clattered him. If he gets a touch it’s by coming round the back of him. It’s an obvious foul literally anywhere else on the pitch. Absurd that anybody is even suggesting it’s contentious. If you need a fucking microscope to tell if he’s touched the ball then it’s a foul.
Dont let the actual rules get in the way of some good pundit indignation.

No they're not. They've been fair.

Not our finest 45 mins but Sheff U parking the bus isn’t helping. Akanji and Laporte solid. Good save from Ortega. Couple need to up their game a bit.

Flat back 11 and barely any possession is now apparently the way to play and they have held their own and will be disappointed apparently.

Fucking dinosaur tactics and commentary
I agree mate. just have go and try and make a game of it. 10 men behind the ball almost never works
