I imagine you are referring to Laporte. 1) our own fault for prioritising other areas when we lacked at least one CB as two of them are iffy (one of them injury prone) and we lost our leader in the summer... so our own doing. 2) we have dealt with it very badly. I rarely believe we will win games this season after watching the first 10 mins or so as we are set up inappropriately against the opposition given our current defensive personnel and that lies with the manager and coaching staff. Since the Watford hammering how may games have we actually played well in? Arsenal? Leicester? and at a push Everton.. we were lucky against Chelsea and Southampton and most of the the others we either lost or dropped points in because we weren’t good enough.

That is a 3 month spell so not a blip.

we are not convincing so far this evening either imo.

something other than the absence of Laporte is wrong.
