thing is that it Fatty did give it, then var would not have overruled it and say No Pen. This is how fucking stupid var is. They will hide behind the clear and obvious bullshit they come out with

yep, it's all about the ref's original decision (more often than not) and the default decisions are "definite pen" for anything against us, and "not enough of a foul for it to be a pen" for us. Var is, as you say, just a "the ref got it right" machine :(
