The issue is that the refs DON'T give them FOR us and seem to always give them AGAINST us, and VAR then confirms that the on-field ref was "correct".

There is no "if the ref gives it" for us, they hardly ever do

So, I don't know the rules here, but does that mean that as long as you touch the ball it doesn't matter if you wipe the player out?? I never knew that.
