I think Doku slowing it down at times is tactical. He picks and chooses the moments when he goes. Noticed that if the lads aren’t fully up, he doesn’t go ahead all the time.

That’s what he has to do. He’s never going to blitz defenders in a foot race. His entire game is slowing them to walking pace and then accelerating away. If he didn’t slow them down first he’d be pointless.

He's not doing the second part either, he's slowing them down and crossing it straight into the first man.
