I thought we had an ideal start by scoring an early goal, yet our defence was blowing hot and cold and we were giving the ball away more often than not. Credit to our stikers who managed to overturn the deficit in spite of our sloppy defence. We will score in the second half but to knock out Spurs we ought to sort out our mistakes at the back. To me, the aolition hinges upon closing down Son who was outplaying our center backs in the first half.

Things were only heading towards a city won in the first half, Laporte had calmed down and we were still creating chances while holding spurs off.

I really hope Poch doesn't change everything, especially the emphasis of his defence, because it will just take us 10-15 minutes to work out how to attack the new system and we dont really have time for that.
