I really think our midfield is the issue. We have nobody creating or controlling the game. The gap between defence & forwards is too much.

I have no idea why foden & Kev are so far up the pitch. One needs to drop into the middle to A, create & B, pull one of their players out. All season we have played like this & it’s not working especially when they have 10 behind the ball

On halfway Dias nudges it along to Ake, who promptly gives it back. Then Gundogan takes over. He works it back to Dias. It is all very neat and tidy. But City’s patient probing is yet to carve a bona fide opening.
